Banana Molasses Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of low fat soy milk (vanilla flavored)
1 med peeled banana, sliced in 1-inch thick cuts
5 pcs prunes, pitted
1 tbsp of molasses (blackstrap)
3 cubes of ice
1/4 tsp of cardamom, ground
Instructions:
In a bowl, put the prunes then cover them with some hot water from your tap. Allow to stand for about 15 mins. or just until they have plumped up enough. Drain well.
Put the prunes & all other ingredients inside the blender then process until you have achieved a smoothie consistency. Serve in glasses.
