How To make A Delicious Smoothie Meal On-The-Go

How To make A Delicious Smoothie Meal On-The-Go

Breakfast which is considered an essential meal in any person’s day isn’t only just a well-known phrase but nutritionists alike would also agree to this clich ?.

Although getting a nutritious breakfast isn’t always simple to acquire, plus with a busy lifestyle, not everyone could afford to spend extra time in preparing meals as well as find the time to actually eat them. This is where a smoothie-maker or blender comes in really handy.

Using this kitchen appliance in creating a fruity smoothie within a couple of minutes would be great. This is so ideal because you’re not required to drink them at your own home, you could just freely drink them while waiting for your ride or on your commute to your office.

Worried on what kind of fruit to pick? Fresh will always be the very ideal. Nutritionist alike also argues with different benefits that both frozen & fresh fruits have to offer. Although it has been researched that frozen fruits are able to retain a lot of vitamins versus fresh fruits.

Frozen fruits also taste a lot better when incorporated inside your drink. And fresh fruits usually tend to create a thinner kind of smoothie – which is almost similar to juices. Plus frozen fruits can even be cheaper compared to the fresh ones. Feel free to add in applejuice, skim milk, soya milk and yogurt when preferred.

When purchasing frozen fruits always make certain that they don’t contain sweeteners or any other additives. Cherries, strawberries, blueberries and blackcurrants are ideal choices.

Bananas that are frozen also create a great tasting smoothie; they would be able to ensure you of a really smooth and really thick smoothie. Check also to see if the frozen fruits were flash frozen because flash frozen fruits do retain much more nutrients than the regular frozen ones.

Buy some fresh bananas then just freeze them up inside your refrigerator. To obtain an optimal banana taste simply cut them into halves prior to freezing them; arrange them in one case so that this would easily fit inside your blender/smoothie-maker.

Avoid using raspberries since they contain lots of seeds which would make your smoothies’ texture not so great and you might end up drinking the seeds along with the smoothie which isn’t really great.

Smoothies basically are really great breakfast items. Plus they’re packed with so much goodness. If you decide to add oats or nuts this would also assist in slowing down sugar to be absorbed from your fruit ingredient into your own bloodstream.

Another great choice would also include almonds because they’re seen as healthy for your heart. Cereals or nuts would also ensure a higher and longer level of energy for your body.

7 Strawberry & Creamy Smoothie Recipes

7 Strawberry & Creamy Smoothie Recipes

Strawberries are a classic smoothie ingredient. They mix well with most fruits, add vibrant color and provide sweet flavors that can cool the heat of summer instantly. They are also a very nutritious fruit with the ability to remove harmful toxins in the blood.

Your smoothie will be a lot more delicious if freshly picked strawberries are used. Strawberries that are frozen, however, are still used as the main ingredient in some smoothies. If it’s required to use frozen ones, you may freeze your freshly picked strawberries and it will work the same way. Strawberry smoothies also go great with strawberry ice cream and yogurt.

How Many Calories In A Smoothie Drink

How Many Calories In A Smoothie Drink

What makes a smoothie so fantastic is that you have control of the amount of calories that you would want your smoothie to have, since you are selecting your smoothie ingredients. You just need to list down all your smoothie ingredients that you’re planning to use and get their exact calorie numbers and you’d know how much are inside the delicious smoothie drink.

When wanting to check the amount of calories your smoothies contain, it’s actually very easy to find out if you have lots of patience. The difficult portion of the process is checking out the amount of calories inside the veggies and fruits as well as the rest of the unlabeled food stuff.

STEP 1 – Check the amount of calories found inside the different foods that you’re putting inside your blender.

One example would be when a smoothie recipe requires yogurt as its ingredients, check how much calories could be found inside one cup of yogurt. This can be easy since the calories have always been indicated on their label.

Always check its serving size; because a lot of people commit the common mistake, they think that one container is really the same as the serving size indicated when in fact it isn’t.

But when blending greens, vegetables, raspberries, grapes, bananas, apples and etc. there wouldn’t be any label for you to check on so you really can’t determine the appropriate number of calories found inside the fruit or vegetable. So what to do? Move on to the next step.

STEP 2 – Research and check the number of calories found in vegetables & fruits.

That’s what’s so great in the World Wide Web. All you need to do is use any search engine such as Google then type in amount of calories found in veggies and fruits and there would be a wide variety of different websites for you to pick from.

Be extra diligent in the searches and for sure you’d find what you’re looking for. There might be a table guide also available so you can print this out too and paste it inside the kitchen so you’ll have a guide for anytime that you’d want a smoothie drink.

WARNING: When checking varying websites some numbers would appear to differ, no need to fret because the largest difference in amounts would be just ten calories or even just five calories.

When wanting an increase with your caloric consumption then opt to eat the fruit/vegetable that has a lower amount of calories and when wanting to lower on your calorie consumption then choose foods that have lower caloric amounts, that way you don’t miss out on anything.

Step 3 – Add all the calories together

Simply add all the calories together and you would get the number of calories found inside your healthy smoothie drink. Take note of all your ingredients
