Jumpstart Your Day With Superfood Smoothies

Our fast-paced world always gets in the way of breakfast. Majority put this meal at the last priority of our to-do list because there’s always so much to do.

But studies show, missing breakfast is a big no-no if you want to stay healthy and lose weight. By not eating breakfast, you put yourself on the fast track of weight gain and heart disease. Because you’ve been hungry for hours, you’re tricking your brain into thinking you want high-calorie foods. Thus, when lunch time comes, you crave so much that you’d want to eat a whole cow!

Your body also responds naturally to long hunger by slowing down its metabolic rate hence, it burns fewer calories to conserve energy. This meal is essential for memory improvement and efficiency at work or school. A hungry fellow can be disinterested and apathetic to the day’s tasks.

Some try their hardest not to miss breakfast by taking fast foods like sugared doughnuts, Danish muffins, rich chocolate cookies or even desserts. These cause a blood sugar dip a couple of hours later. You’ll be desperate for something to perk you up, and will be more likely to grab another high-sugar treat in a short while.
